• Miss. Jessel; She wants to take the soul of Flora. The most of the time she is weared a black suit.

Settings:

- The story takes place in the century XIX

- The story develops in the Bly mansion, outside of London
- In 1898 U.S.A declares war on Spain after the sinking of the battleship Maine in Cuba.

Conflicts:

The most important conflict for our group is Milles's death that makes the novel in a police novel, as it seeks to solve this crime. Addition to the appearance of ghosts that makes the novel in a fantastic novel.

One aspect of the novel is very comun in a normal life like fall in love. In the novel the governess fall in love with her boss, the children's uncle.

Cause and Effect:

- The governess wants generate confidence in children...and get to spend much time with them.
- The first governess died...the uncle hired a new governess.
-  Mrs. Grose left the bly because she wanted to help to flora.
